The main objection I have about this measure is: How come they subsidize the public transportation at Guatemala City where the average salary is way too more than the rest of the country... with the taxes that the whole country pays!!! and the poorest ones that are the ones that need more help... are the ones who have to pay the taxes and also a expensive public transport... I wonder if the president have ever though about it...

Most presidents nowadays are more concerned with how much they can make while in office... sad but a lot of times true...

Well... the funny thing is that this president got elected by the people outside the city... I wonder if he is looking for getting those votes for his party for next time... or just avoiding a strike!
I think the transportation problem needs a deeper look that just doing what the stakeholders ask for... but I guess that’s the easiest thing to do...
